Verbal Parasites
(Lingo of the Valley)

To my mentor, F. Dostoevsky who stated
"Beauty can save the world!"

By Tatiana Pahlen

Oh, breeder of the swarms of flies,
with such desire to expand
Its paltry wings to reach the skies;
who's meant to squat, meant not to fly,
but stimulate the soiled demand
of old elite to see it die,
then rule the mediocre land.
What have you done did not survive
the splendor of these faultless words?
The broken crystal breaks its sounds:
"Beauty couldn't save the world!"
Why not purge another round;
if beauty won't,
You do it, Lord!
