Maurice and Bella

In My Sleep
By Tatiana Pahlen

The noise has ceased
I close my eyes
In the dark looms a fracture of you
Your tepid lips catching my smile
Did I dose off? Was it true?

A soothing breath
Stroking my ear
Besieged, I dare not move
The pace of your pulse
Akin my heart
Or is it my clock, not you?

The placid arms
Rest on my waist
Amassing the body mist
Deep in sleep, I will soon wake up
Bewitched by the zeal of your lips.
