Loss of Love
By Tatiana Pahlen

When love is gone
Don't yearn for its return
Call not the past; it's fled,
Place your emotions
As in the memory bank.
Don't spend them all
You might need some again
Time fleets swiftly
Expanding pain in vain.
When love is gone
Don't hold the golden dust —
A flash of rhapsody in the past
Won't last.
