Peculiar Mind
To Warren

With a frame of mind like all four seasons
fleeting, changing on the spot,
at times he is warm without reason,
next cold and tetchy or madly hot;
He runs his unit like Julius Caesar.

Asides the coil he is projecting,
in truth, he is a loyal friend,
his way is seemingly effective,
one day he might exploit his trend
teaching, how to stay attentive.

Leaving for Washington State on Thursday
to perk the Starbuck's coffee brand,
Warren's smile mirrors Thurston's,
his dog, sweet and playful on demand
That knows his master is slightly bent.
