The line is slippery
between love and hate,
you balance broken scales;
enraging words, meant to regret
likely, when it's late.
No matter who is scoring the points
damage is done to be gleeful,
before you flip another verb,
avoid the following:
throwing arguments in the air,
trading anguished verdicts,
hurting each other
without aim,
blaming or smarting
out in vain,
except,
love is bigger
than hate!
