Kate and Will
(A Tale of Kate Middleton and Prince William of Wales)
By Tatiana
Pahlen
All Brits are pampered and thrilled,
the big day for the monarchy;
Tying the knot by Kate and Will,
Spurred an international ordeal
The royal wedded a commoner.
The blushing bride from the middle class
Learned fast those regal manners
To wave her hand through a window glass
and smile with her enigmatic eyes,
Sitting in the lofty carriage.
The mob went wild demanding a kiss
prompting an inevitable leisure;
The couple obeyed and quickly produced
Two smooches to fill the measure
that made the highlight of worthy news.
The eldest son of doomed Princess Di
and freshly remarried Prince Charles,
Will's charms came from his beloved mum
The new Duchess proved she is not dumb;
This marriage won’t spell a farce.
